Harder! (2025) is an experimental installation exploring the deep tensions between urban life and industrial systems. It highlights the temporal and spatial dissonances driven by our reliance on short-term data. The core apparatus relies on the interaction between a fan, a projector, and a suspended plastic sheet. Crucially, the projector casts its image only when the oscillating fan pauses. In this way, even a momentary rest—an apparent "interval of time"—is entirely absorbed into the logic of efficiency and weaponised as extended labour. Swaying in the airflow, the plastic sheet generates the work's soundscape while blurring the projection, creating an elusive visual experience that can never be fully grasped. Through this mechanism, the installation brings to light the frictions concealed or erased within the rhythms of the city.
